Description
Rutherford Hayes Platt, Jr. (1852–1934) was an American attorney and writer who is known for his translation and publication of “The First Book of Adam and Eve.” The work is also sometimes referred to as “The Conflict of Adam and Eve with Satan” or simply “The Conflict.” The book is presented as a series of dialogues between Adam and Eve, as well as with various angels and celestial beings. It contains additional details and elaborations on the biblical account, focusing on the struggles faced by Adam and Eve as they navigate life outside of Eden and the deceptive schemes of Satan to lead them astray.
